awareness and control of the hypnotic state.

only weak-minded people can by hypnotized?
Answer: Studies have shown that intelligence is
not an important factor in determining an individuals ability to
respond to hypnosis.
Question: Is hypnosis dangerous?
Answer: There is no evidence that hypnosis will
damage the nervous system, or in any other way adversely affect
the physical and mental well-being of an individual.
Question: Does a person
lose complete awareness of their surroundings?
Answer: Hypnosis is not sleep. The hypnotized individual
is always aware of what is occurring; in fact, his awareness actually
increases.
Question: Is it possible
for a person not to be able to come out of the hypnotic state?
Answer: The hypnotist or the individual can always
terminate the hypnotic state, easily and quickly.
Question: While in a hypnotic
state, will an individual reveal intimate secrets or embarrassing
details about themselves?
Answer: During hypnosis, the individual is always
conscious and aware of everything that is occurring. Therefore,
in the same manner that he guards his secrets while awake, he also
protects his secrets while hypnotized.
Question: Does a person
have to be placed in a deep hypnotic state before it can be of any
value to them?
Answer: Eighty to ninety percent of the work in
hypnosis is accomplished in the light to medium stages of hypnosis.
